The Warehouse Worker/Parts Assembler will be responsible for performing corrective and preventative maintenance and repairs on customer units. This includes receiving and tracking inbound customer units for deployment; unpacking, building, and configuring office electronics as required; prepping and staging according to the deployment schedule; and following company standards and best practices. This position will also support other dock or warehouse projects and duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Customer Service Representative on configuration of solutions as required.
- Actively participate in Standard Operating Procedures based on customer specifications and requirements.
- Build and configure office electronics based on customer needs.
- Develop standards and best practices for tools and technologies as part of a team.
- Perform maintenance routines in a variety of environments.
- Meet all health and safety guidelines as required.
- Maintain an organized and clean environment.
- Perform other general duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
- Experience in a fast paced logistics environment.
- Experience with hand and small power tools is an asset.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex issues.
- Ability to multi task.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with team members and Customer Service Representatives.
- Warehouse experience is an asset.
Schedule & Compensation
- Shift: Morning shift
- Overtime: May be required based on operational needs
- Pay Rate: $21 per hour
