Financial Services Regulatory Associate - 4 to 6+ Years' Experience

Are you looking for a growth opportunity in the evolving Financial Services Regulatory practice area?
Take your next step and join Osler’s Financial Services Regulatory group as an associate in our Toronto office. You will be part of a team with deep expertise and proven experience in helping federally and provincially regulated organizations and financial institutions navigate the complex and ever-changing financial services regulatory landscape.
Do you have what we’re looking for?
- 4 to 6+ years of regulatory experience gained from a leading law firm or in-house, or an interest in specializing in the regulation of the financial services sector;
- A self-starter who embraces challenge and thrives in a fast-paced setting;
- A drive to work on a variety of regulatory and corporate/commercial matters including: advising on M&A transactions involving regulated entities; advising on compliance with Canadian financial institution legislation and the laws relating to consumer protection, payments, digital currency, and anti-money laundering; and assisting with regulatory investigations;
- Excellent academic credentials; and
- Superior communication, drafting skills and a strong attention to detail.
We will also consider senior candidates interested in a Counsel position.
