AVTR1 is a premier AR experience that enables businesses to bring storytelling, tours, and educational content to life through 3D avatars visible in 360 degrees on visitor mobile screens. Once a guest scans a QR code, a custom-designed avatar animates and delivers synchronized audio, animations and narrative content — turning static interactions into engaging, memorable journeys. Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Specialist with a strong technical aptitude and a flair for creative storytelling. In this role, you’ll help potential customers understand the possibilities of AVTR1, craft compelling demonstrations, translate business needs into immersive AR experiences, and ultimately drive sales growth of AVTR1 subscriptions.
You will be positioned at the intersection of technology, tourism and customer success, working with businesses of all sizes and across sectors to help them unlock the power of AR to elevate their visitor experience.
Key Responsibilities

Identify, qualify and pursue new sales opportunities for AVTR1 across Ontario and beyond (including, but not limited to, lead list generation, cold calling, drip email campaign development, etc.)

Deliver tailored sales presentations that demonstrate technical features and business value

Work closely with potential customers to understand their visitor engagement goals and recommend customized AVTR1 solutions

Build strong relationships with tourism partners, DMOs, municipalities, museums, breweries, wineries and cultural attractions

Collaborate with marketing and product teams to inform enhancements and improve customer onboarding
-
Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
-
Represent AVTR1 and Central Counties Tourism at conferences, trade shows, and industry events
-
Contract development and management
-
Client on-boarding and success management including a weekly troubleshooting meeting for all subscribers
-
Liaise with 3rd party tech support and developers
-
Progress reports and storytelling around data
-
Upselling, Renewals
What We’re Looking For
You are:

Technically savvy: comfortable explaining AR technology and digital tools to non-technical audiences

A creative communicator: able to help customers see what’s possible with AVTR1 and visualize how it fits into their operations

Energetic and personable, with a passion for storytelling and visitor experience design
-
Strategic and consultative in your sales approach
-
Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving product environment
-
A strong relationship builder with excellent presentation and negotiation skills
-
A competitive person who is always striving for success
Qualifications
-
5+ years of sales experience, ideally in technology, software and/or tourism services
-
Demonstrated success in consultative or solution sales
-
Experience with SaaS, AR/VR, or immersive technology sales is a plus
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Ability to travel (mileage and travel costs covered by Central Counties Tourism)
-
A genuine passion for tourism, innovation, and enhancing visitor experiences
-
Experience with sourcing and signing corporate sponsors is a bonus
