The successful candidate(s) may teach practice courses
- HEAL1000 Lifestyle choices
- HEAL 1010 Concepts for Practice
- HEAL 1050 Interpersonal Communications
- HEAL 1100 Introduction to Practice
- HEAL 1200 Common Health Challenges
- HEAL 1350 Cognitive &/or Mental Health Challenges
within the HCA program and will organize activities related to HCA, including but not limited to attending meetings, clinical agency liaison, development of student clinical assignments and conducting evaluations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters required, Masters in progress may be considered
- We welcome applications from candidates with a BScN (or LPN with 5 years' experience in Long Term Care in a nurse-client relationship). The non-qualified language would apply if successful.
- Undergraduate degree must be in nursing;
- Practicing membership with BCCNM is required.
- Teaching experience at the program level preferred; and/or
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Long Term Care, in a nurse/client relationship.
