We offer an inclusive and accessible work environment where all employees and customers feel valued, respected, and supported.

Here’s the job opportunity…

This position is a new vacancy.

As the WordPress Developer & Digital Communications Specialist, you will support a wide range of marketing initiatives, with a primary focus on ivari’s digital and online platforms. You will oversee the development, maintenance, and optimization of corporate websites, email communications, and CRM‑supported marketing activities, ensuring high‑quality, accessible, and secure digital experiences.

This role supports both large‑scale initiatives such as campaigns and product launches, as well as the day‑to‑day maintenance and continuous improvement of ivari’s digital platforms and processes.

You will…

  • Manage day‑to‑day content updates across WordPress and internal SharePoint platforms

  • Support marketing campaigns through the creation and maintenance of landing pages and digital content

  • Maintain content structure, metadata, taxonomy, and publishing workflows

  • Optimize websites and content for SEO, accessibility (WCAG/AODA), performance, and user experience

  • Collaborate with designers, marketers, and business stakeholders to deliver high‑quality digital solutions

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress plugins and enhancements

  • Perform full‑stack development using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL

  • Manage WordPress environments, including updates, security patching, and compliance requirements

  • Support email campaign execution including template maintenance, deployment, tracking, and reporting, primarily using Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Maintain and support integrations between websites, email platforms, forms, CRMs, and analytics tools

  • Analyze digital performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Mouseflow

  • Translate analytics into actionable insights and recommendations

  • Stay current with emerging digital trends, tools, and best practices

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across websites, email platforms, and integrations

  • Continuously improve digital tools, workflows, and processes to support efficient and compliant marketing execution

What we are looking for…

  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in Web Development, Computer Science, Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience managing and maintaining corporate websites in a production environment (WordPress required; SharePoint an asset)

  • Strong experience designing, developing, and maintaining custom WordPress plugins and themes

  • Full‑stack development skills including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL

  • Experience supporting marketing campaigns end‑to‑end across web, email, analytics, and reporting

  • Hands‑on experience with email design and distribution, preferably using Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Strong understanding of SEO, site performance, accessibility standards (WCAG/AODA), and secure web practices

  • Experience working with CRM and marketing automation platforms, including integrations and administrative tasks

  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders

  • Experience working in a regulated or compliance‑driven environment is an asset

  • Experience troubleshooting issues across websites, email platforms, and integrations, and working through problems independently

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while meeting deadlines and compliance requirements

  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset
