AutoCAD Technician (co-op)

Pinchin Ltd. is currently recruiting an 8-month Co-op placement for a student to join Pinchin’s Hamilton office as an AutoCAD Technician for the Winter 2026 term. The AutoCAD student will prepare drawings for the Hazardous Materials Group and will work part time (3-4 days per week, up to 30 hours per week).
A Day in the life of an AutoCAD Technician at Pinchin:
- Provide in-office support to staff by completing AutoCAD drawings to be included in client reports
- Provide field support for Project Technologists, including note taking, sampling and other job-related responsibilities
What you bring to the Pinchin team:

Experience with AutoCAD Light 2014

Experience preparing detailed drawings; Students will not go out to draw the building, but will be preparing the drawing from existing drawings or hand sketches

Vehicle and valid driver's license required

Excellent communications skills, flexibility to meet client schedules and a willingness to learn new skills are essential
