Then Start with Bayshore in August to attend our full time 2-week Orientation & Onboarding program, Monday – Friday business hours; our training program for all new nurse hires. This is followed by meet and greets with clients, family members and school faculty to then commence work with local pediatric clients in the school setting in September.

Enjoy the flexibility of regular work hours Monday – Friday with some planned days off throughout the year, including STAT holidays, school-based PA days, winter/summer and March breaks.

Employment with Bayshore is retained year-round, 12 months per year, with opportunity to work with other community clients, on a shift and/or visit basis.

If you enjoy providing skilled nursing care and personal support to pedantic clients and have a passion for interacting with their larger care circle, this role may be a fit for you!

Availability Requirement: Monday to Friday from 8/9am – 3/4pm, for casual, part time, or up to full time hours. Weekly hours and daily work schedule are dependent on the client’s school schedule. Assignments are located in elementary schools in your local scheduling area. Some clients also receive nursing support care before and/or after school in the home setting.

Location of Work: Brantford and surrounding Brant County area

What you’ll be doing:
As an RPN, make a difference everyday by providing the highest quality of nursing care to our clients in their community. As the primary care planner to your clients, you have the autonomy and flexibility to provide a holistic approach to care while increasing your skills through our comprehensive training, mentorship and preceptorship programs.

You will teach, delegate tasks and functions to different levels of workers and client family members while maintaining our industry’s highest level of practice.

You are the nursing care expert for your community. With our efficient work schedules, you will be focused more on care time and less travel time.

Qualifications:

Qualifications you currently have:
Registered Practical Nurses who graduated from an accredited School of Nursing
Registered as a member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Updated Immunization Records, Clear criminal background check and vulnerable sector check upon hire
Current CPR certification required
