Entry Level - Video Editor
About the role
We are currently seeking an Entry Level Video Editor to join our growing team. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company. The ideal candidate will have a passion for video editing and a strong eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into a finished product that meets the company's standards and client's needs
- Use video editing software to add music, sound effects, and transitions to enhance the overall quality of the videos
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and storyboards for video projects
- Ensure all videos are delivered on time and within budget
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve video editing skills
- Assist with other video production tasks as needed, such as filming and directing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film, Media, or a related field
- Previous experience in video editing is preferred, but not required
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to take direction and work independently
- Must be able to provide a portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous video editing work
