##What you’ll do
Reporting to the Corporate Partnerships Manager, the Philanthropy Associate is responsible for engaging corporate partners in raising funds for BC Children’s.
More specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining relationships with existing corporate partners, with responsibility for the overall fundraising success of a designated portfolio.
- Identifying, cultivating, and soliciting new and existing corporate partnerships.
- Developing and executing tailored fundraising strategies, including developing fundraising goals, plans and timelines to achieve fundraising targets for your assigned portfolio.
- Formulating engaging proposals, communications, fundraising collateral, and stewardship reports in collaboration with Marketing & Communications, Donor Relations and Strategic Partnerships, to engage donors in our cause.
- Presenting fundraising opportunities and demonstrating impact to corporate donors and volunteers.
- Leveraging data and reporting to gain insights to improve and maximize fundraising efforts and strategies.

An exceptional communicator, you craft compelling funding proposals and clearly demonstrate impact. You bring creativity to developing fundraising strategies, paired with sharp organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Analytical and solutions-focused, you thrive on solving problems and engaging professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders.
In addition, you will bring:
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or an Associate Certificate in Fundraising.
- Minimum three years of direct fundraising experience.
- Professional presentation skills and demeanour.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- A positive outlook and a self-starter with an inspirational vision.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Raiser’s Edge NXT or other database experience is an asset.
- A valid Class 5 BC driver’s license and access to reliable transportation, as this role requires travel to donor meetings and off-site events.
- A flexible schedule that allows for after-hours events and meetings.

The hiring range for this position is between $72,750 and $81,000. At BCCHF, we are committed to ensuring that compensation is fair and equitable. Your placement in the salary range will be determined by your experience, relevant skills, and qualifications as they relate to this role. Please note that all team members of BCCHF are required to complete a vulnerable sector criminal record check as a condition of employment.
