About the role
This role is part of our ET/UT product line. The incumbent of this position is part of the accounting team within the company, while also providing support to the administrative management of the company. The work involves multiple and varied tasks in terms of the payment cycle and month-end processes, and to a lesser extent to take charge of certain tasks related to the sound financial and administrative management of the company. In general, support the Financial Controller in his/her duties, working in collaboration with the rest of the accounting team.

As Senior Accounting Technician, you must be able to
- Perform accounting processing and complete management of accounts payable (i.e. receipt of invoices, matching with delivery notes, coding, entry into the system, issuance of payments, verification of expense accounts, reconciliation of accounts payable statements, payments according to the internal controls and procedures put in place, etc.).
- Carry out bank reconciliations.
- Perform various tasks related to month-end processes, adjusting numbers to reflect a change of month. (i.e. accrual adjustments, charging billing, adjustment of prepayments and provisions, etc.).
- Assist the team as needed with processes related to the processing of other accounting cycles.
What Makes You An Asset To Our Team
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (D.E.P.), Attestation of Collegial Studies (A.E.C.) or Diploma of Collegial Studies (D.E.C.) in Accounting/Administration (or related discipline).
- Ten years of relevant experience.
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (mainly Excel).
- Practical mastery of accounting concepts.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4 Hana software is an asset.
- Rigor, sense of organization, meticulousness, autonomy, versatility, discretion.
- Ability to work in a team, and ease of learning as well as resourcefulness.
- Priority management and ability to work under pressure.
- Flexibility in terms of schedule, especially at the end of the month.
- Functional English sufficient to interact on a regular basis, both orally and in writing.
