Cellula is looking to add a Procurement Specialist to its Supply Chain team to support its growing list of projects.
Cellula Robotics Ltd. is a world-leading marine technology company focused on changing the paradigm of subsea survey, science and security through modular, long range, autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) systems. Our company is growing and is transitioning from building mostly one-of-a-kind prototypes to completing the development of our four core products and will be delivering multiples of those products to our customers. As the Procurement Specialist, you will play a critical role in the success of our business by coordinating purchases to meet company needs, working with & building a network supplier, and developing purchasing strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels and verify purchase requisitions
- Negotiate terms and contracts with suppliers
- Follow up with suppliers on deliveries
- Keep detailed records
- Maintain professional relationships with key suppliers, including annual assessments/evaluations
- Develop purchasing strategies and identify buying trends
Required Skills & Experience
Technical & Software Skill Requirements
- Previous experience in procurement or related position
- Previous experience with an ERP system: 1-5years
- Previous experience in a projectized work environment : 1-5years
- Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
Additional Skill Requirements
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong negotiating & persuasion skills
- Highly self-motivated & directed, with a keen attention to detail
- Assertive decision making
- Strong trouble-shooting skills
- Able to prioritize & execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Strong team-working skills, with an ability to collaborate with a variety of team members
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Post-secondary degree in business operations, production, supply chain or related field
- Knowledge of international shipping practices
- Knowledge of TDG shipping practices
- Cash-handling skills
- ISO9001 quality control
- Familiarity with occupational health and safety programs
