About the role
Job Overview Nella Cutlery (B.C) Inc. is seeking a motivated Office Administrator/Accounts Receivable to support daily administrative operations and customer account management. As part of a leading foodservice equipment and supply company, this role plays an important part in maintaining customer relationships, processing invoices and payments, and ensuring efficient office operations in a fast-paced business environment.
Responsibilities
Office Administration Duties
- Answer phone calls, emails, and greet visitors professionally
- Maintain office supplies and coordinate vendor orders
- Assist with data entry, document preparation, and reporting
- Support management and staff with administrative tasks
- Setting up customer's accounts
- Coordinate with team to ensure smooth operation
Accounts Receivable Duties
- Prepare and send invoices to customers
- Monitor customer accounts and payment schedules
- Process incoming payments and apply them accurately
- Follow up on overdue accounts via phone and email
- Reconcile accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
- Generate AR aging reports and assist with monthly closing
Requirements
- Post Secondary Diploma/ Certificate in Administration/ Business/ Accounting or related major is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service experience
- Ability to perform data entry accurately with high attention to detail
- Strong computer skills with the ability to adapt to new software tools quickly
