THL Gourmet Foods Inc. is one of the leading importers and distributors of Asian food products from the Pacific Rim and other regions of the world. We are currently looking for a passionate Replenishment Specialist to support the Purchasing Team.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Inventory Planning Manager, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Replenishment Specialist to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing product replenishment and maintaining optimal inventory levels to support business objectives. You will play a key role in ensuring product availability, monitoring purchase orders, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our supply chain operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Master Planner to align replenishment and purchasing decisions with business objectives.
  • Manage inventory levels within defined KPIs, including Weeks of Supply, Inventory Turns, Excess & Obsolete depletion, and Unit Fill Rate.
  • Monitor and update inbound purchase orders, including adjusting ETAs and communicating changes in arrival dates.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis of out-of-stock scenarios, recommend corrective actions, and provide recovery timelines to senior management.
  • Identify, communicate, and escalate risks to supply and service levels, while recommending proactive solutions.
  • Partner with overseas manufacturing facilities to understand production capacity, lead times, and logistics constraints, ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Provide reporting and insights to support data-driven decisions on vendor performance, inventory health, and replenishment strategies.
  • Perform additional related duties as required to support team objectives.

Requirements/ Must-Haves:

  • Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and 2+ years of purchasing/replenishment experience.
  • 2–3 years of supervisory or office management experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and evaluate vendor performance.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with international partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Assets/ Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in international trade and/or global supply chain operations considered an asset.
  • Additional language skills are an asset.

Working Hours:

  • Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (8-hour shift)
