Teachers are responsible for planning and delivering lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. Daily tasks include preparing instructional materials, facilitating classroom activities, managing a positive and inclusive learning environment, and supporting students’ academic and personal growth. Teachers collaborate with colleagues, communicate regularly with families, participate in staff meetings and professional development, and contribute to school events and initiatives.
Qualifications
Muslim teachers preferred. Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Education skills, with the ability to support diverse learners and apply appropriate instructional methods. Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning skills, including organizing learning objectives, activities, and assessments in a clear and coherent manner. Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, with the ability to interact respectfully and clearly with students, families, and colleagues. Candidates should possess Training-related skills, including mentoring, guiding, or coaching learners in both academic and behavioral development. Alberta teaching certification, and a degree in Education or a related field. Experience working in classroom settings or educational programs, preferably in K–12 or similar environments. Ability to create an inclusive, respectful classroom climate and manage classroom behavior constructively. Commitment to ongoing professional learning and adherence to school policies and ethical standards.
