Overall Accountability
The SIS Data Clerk is responsible for the administration of student information on the Student Information System (SIS) and the performance of required processes and practices according to the SIS calendar established by Alberta Education and Calgary Catholic.
Specific Accountabilities

Provides service and support to school administration, faculty and students

Completes all student registrations, withdrawals, changes and coding
-
Manages diploma exam setup and registration processes
-
Coordinates student mark reporting processes including distribution of Progress Reports
-
Maintains course directories and class schedules
-
Prepares and submits various reports
-
Responds to inquiries and request for information
-
Ensures appropriate student funding in accordance with Alberta Education guidelines
-
Performs regular data maintenance to ensure accuracy of student information

Assists with digitization of student records
Qualifications
-
High school diploma
-
Three (3) years’ experience with SIS or a similar program
-
Administrative Assistant Certificate/Diploma or equivalent preferred
-
Knowledge of senior high school operations and Alberta Education requirements preferred
-
Familiarity with programs operated by Calgary Catholic preferred
-
Proficient with Brightspace (D2L), PASI (Provincial Approach to Student Information), Microsoft 365, Google Suite, and Alberta Education’s Extranet
-
Ability to work independently requiring a high level of accuracy and trust
-
Ability to deal with confidential material and sensitive issues in a manner demonstrating sounds judgment and diplomacy
-
Excellent written and oral communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
