As ourHuman Resources Generalistyou:
- Partner with operational leaders to facilitate people centric priorities as a trusted advisor; actively participate in strategic business planning, organizational design and overall team effectiveness.
- Provide tactical and strategic leadership in the overall talent acquisition process and lead full cycle recruitment.
- Partner with operational leaders in annual objective setting, talent review, compensation planning and related talent development activities.
- Develop and implement employee engagement strategies in line with the business objective to ensure the business is an employer of choice
- Support in the development of training programs and content focused on business process and workflows, operational efficiency, digital transformation and change management.
- Provide consultation and coaching in sensitive and confidential employee relation issues and facilitate the performance management process.
- Remain current by conducting research and analysis of new case law, labour arbitration cases and awards to determine trends and precedence.
- Lead HR projects and program development as assigned from inception to completion in line with annual team objectives.
Our ideal candidate has:
- A Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Commerce with a major in Human Resources Management or a related discipline, or a combination of education, training, and experience deemed equivalent
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in human resources management; experience developing training programs a definite asset. Construction industry experience preferred.
- Experience in developing, managing, and executing training programs or talent management initiatives
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 (including Teams and SharePoint); experience implementing HRIS and/or related HR software an asset.
- Bilingual in French would be an asset
