Position Information The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist 1 takes quality diagnostic images using x-ray technology, assists radiologists/physicians and works cooperatively with other members of the health care team to perform diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
Temporary position until October 16th, 2026 approximately Rotation/Shifts Nights, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements
- Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario;
- Eligible for Certification in CPR;
- Ability to operate relevant equipment and software for imaging, non imaging and patient care applications;
- Ability to perform Diagnostic Imaging procedures to professional standards;
- Ability to assist in invasive procedures;
- Knowledge of septic and aseptic techniques;
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy;
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Ability to multi-task;
- Good problem solving skills;
- Eligible to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a hospital environment performing a broad range of diagnostic imaging examinations.
- Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
