Position Overview:
Target Land Surveying is seeking an in-office full-time Receptionist working with our Langley team of fifteen employees. Reporting to the Controller, the Receptionist is responsible for providing a broad range of administrative support services for both the Langley operation and corporate head office. This includes front desk responsibilities and administering corporate accounts receivables. The successful candidate will enjoy engaging with customers and working daily in a warm team atmosphere.
Front Desk Accountabilities (not all-inclusive)

Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff or department

Greeting and assist visitors upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcome and are directed to the appropriate person or department

Distributes all incoming mail and handles all outgoing mail/couriers

Langley office invoicing

Enters disbursements into accounting software

Facilitate travel arrangements including booking of hotel rooms and rental cars for staff

Orders and stocks office supplies and forms
-
Monitors email and respond appropriately to requests

Handle admin tasks such as filing and scanning documents
-
Review and submit field reports daily

Process customer payments and advise Project Manager of payment upon receipt

Hold monthly collections meeting for Langley office

Entering employee expenses as needed
-
Maintain a clean, organized front desk/reception area
Specific Invoicing Accountabilities (not all-inclusive)

Completes Langley office invoicing
-
Reviews daily deposits and communicates payments to specific offices
-
Completes the proper credit checks as indicated in policy documents for new Challenger clients
-
Confers with customers for the purpose of reviewing terms of payment established on original service contract and identifying actions required to complete payment of invoices

Ensures monthly account statements are sent to clients
Qualifications:

Previous experience in a customer-facing role is considered an asset.

Highly organized with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Demonstrates reliability and consistent punctuality.

Able to manage interruptions while maintaining focus and productivity.

Customer-service oriented with a professional and approachable demeanor.

Proactive problem-solver who takes initiative and ownership.
Hourly Wage Range: $22.00 - $28.00 (Experience dependent)
