Position Summary
This position is primarily responsible for completing adjusting entries are processed in accordance to standard operating procedures and perform other related duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities (Supervisory/Materials/Information)
- Receive, review and enter data in order to prepare adjusting entries (e.g. refunds, amends, etc.).
- Submit and conclude adjusting entries.
- Prepare invoices and corresponding billing packages.
- Other related duties as assigned by management including answering the phone, scanning documents, filing, etc.
Education and Experience
- Completion of High School or Equivalent
- Previous office experience an asset
Competencies, Working Skills & Attributes
- Fast and accurate keyboarding skills (min. 8000 keystrokes per hour with 97% accuracy)
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills; must be able to speak and write fluently in English.
- High attention to detail
- Able to operate standard business machines (e.g. computer, fax, photocopier, scanner, etc.)
- Proficient with standard business applications (e.g. email, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Able to perform basic mathematical calculations
Working Conditions, Mental Effort & Physical Requirements
- Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, high activity and deadline bound environment.
- Concentration is required in reviewing and typing large quantities of text.
- May be required to sit at desk for prolonged periods of time.
- May be required to view computer screen or printed materials for extended periods of time.
- No adverse conditions.
