About the role
The Facilities Services Worker / Janitor maintains Factors Group’s buildings and facilities by providing housekeeping and janitorial services.
1-Year Contract (40 hours)
Sunday to Thursday 10:00 pm – 6:30 am
In this role, you will:
- Thoroughly clean all building floors of manufacturing, warehouse, lunchroom, office, washrooms, wash bays and general areas
- Sweep, mop, and auto-scrub all types of floors
- Clean, sanitize and maintain washrooms
- Sweep and clean all exterior grounds
- Empty all interior and exterior garbage, recycling, and cardboard bins throughout shift
- Tidy, organize and restock janitor rooms and cage supply storage areas
- Help set-up for company events and facilities requests
- Regular cleaning of any other areas if required and if applicable (i.e: stairs, wash bays, lobbies, outside grounds, rooftop)
- Vacuum carpeted areas
You have:
- Completion of Grade 12
- Experience in janitorial or custodial work (1+ years)
- Building Services Worker Certificate (an asset)
- Familiarity with a GMP manufacturing environment (an asset)
- Ability to communicate in the English (both verbal & written)
- Ability to perform all job duties including standing for prolonged periods of time, bending, twisting, reaching above shoulder level, crouching, squatting, kneeling
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
