- This position will be based out of our Belleville location; however, you will be assisting the Kingston location as needed
- This is a fulltime temporary position from May 1st - Sept 1st
As a Sales Intern, you are a current student or a recent graduate who is interested in building practical experience in sales, customer service, and business development. You will support the sales team in day-to-day activities, learn about the full sales cycle, and contribute to driving revenue growth. You will coordinate equipment sourcing, track delivery dates, communicate across departments, and ensure accurate documentation for smooth transactions. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will directly contribute to providing an exceptional customer experience and keeping the sales team efficient and focused.
- Setup and demonstration of agricultural equipment.
- Prepare equipment for trade shows and displays.
- Assist the sales team with lead generation, outreach, and follow‑up activities.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers, competitors, and trends.
- Support the preparation of proposals, quotes, and presentations.
- Update CRM systems with accurate and timely customer information.
- Participate in sales meetings, trainings, and product knowledge sessions.
- Collaborate with marketing to support promotional campaigns and events.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team as needed.
- Shadow sales representatives during customer calls or visits (as appropriate).
- Must have operated agricultural machinery.
- Must be capable of operating agricultural equipment on roadways.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a post-secondary education in Agriculture, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills — both verbal and written.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and willingness to take initiative.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional education or training in sales coordination, administration, or related fields is a plus.
