Objective of Position

You are a dynamic, high-energy, flexible, and hard-working, and thrive in an environment with high standards. We are currently seeking a proven sales professional to become an Account Manager to sell our products and services selling directly to Dealers, Home Builders and partnering with local Architects, Designers to grow brand awareness in the Southern Saskatchewan Area. As part of our dedicated team, you will be responsible for selling Durabuilt products through the initiation of prospect calls, and establishing ongoing rapports with existing and potential customers.

Sales

  • Generate high-volume, profitable sales while achieving maximum market penetration with as few service requirements as possible.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to build pipeline and close deals.
  • Give prospects and customers in-person or virtual product tours, and effectively communicate the features and benefits of each product.
  • Regularly call existing customers and consistently prospects for new business.
  • Accurately read, interpret and take-off blueprints, and to effectively use electronic software and systems to quote, sell and order products.
  • Promote and advance the visibility and presence of the entire Durabuilt product line while maintaining a continual awareness of activity or news in the architectural and/or construction-related community.
  • Enter opportunities into our systems (Salesforce & CX) and work with Scheduling and Installation departments to ensure the smooth transfer of information.
  • Prepare and present quotes, tender proposals, RFIs, RFQs, specification acceptance requests.
  • Prepare contract package for executive approval and submission, ensuring all documents are aligned and compliant with the contract.

Customer & Sales Support

  • Develop long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with Builders, Contractors, Architects, Trade organizations and Consumer clients.
  • Represent Durabuilt at company-sponsored events, professional group invitations to discuss and/or present Durabuilt products, trade association meetings, and/or shows.
  • Maintain and expand the database of prospects, qualified leads and clients.
  • Continue to foster superior customer relationships with clients throughout the sales cycle including post sales and installation.
  • Review shop drawings with clients and internal team, noting any revisions and approvals.
  • Prepare documents for and attend project kick off meetings with the team.
  • Complete project close out site walk, document deficiencies and process close out service orders.
  • Responsible to weekly/monthly/yearly sales targets.
  • Report on current progress at weekly sales meetings. Share challenges, and the solutions that will help you navigate your obstacles.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce or related field.
  • Equivalent experience will be considered.

Experience / Capabilities

  • 5+ years’ sales experience with a focus on B2B knowledge.
  • Experience working in Construction / Building / Development Industries.
  • Expertise in PVC, Hollow Metal Doors, Commercial Aluminum Windows and Doors as well as knowledge of Fiberglass for Commercial applications.
  • Experience in windows, doors and glazing is an asset.
  • Blueprint, Specification, and Technical Documentation experience & aptitude.
  • Experienced in professional selling, business development and demand generation.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office and Salesforce CRM.
  • Demonstrated experience dealing with high level clientele.
  • Experience working with diverse cultures and a varied workforce.

Working Conditions

  • Lifting and/or carrying anywhere from 0llbs to 20llbs.
  • Operate primarily in an office environment.
  • Use standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones.
  • Flexible schedule, occasional weekend work.
  • Travel 75% of the time to meet clients, sell products and attend meetings.
  • Pressure to produce tangible results and complete projects within tight timelines.
