At Canucks Sports & Entertainment, we are excited to be in the business of
creating memorable moments for our fans and guests. We are now inviting enthusiastic, passionate individuals to join our event staff team and be part of the excitement during Canucks games, Warriors games, and concerts at Rogers Arena. This is a part-time, hourly, seasonal position from September 2026 to August 2027. We can’t wait to meet you!
POSITION SUMMARY
The Ice Team Member is part of our Game Entertainment team and will work during
Canucks home games and other events (such as Open Practice) to assist with on-ice activities, including ice cleaning and promotions. This is a part-time, hourly, events-based position. A typical shift includes:
- Cleaning the ice during TV time-outs
- Assisting with on-ice set–up and execution of intermission contests as required
- Assisting on-ice during games and other events as directed
- Other duties as required
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Must be a competent skater in hockey skates and have a high level of physical fitness
- Must be able to handle props and tools while skating
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by team schedule
- Must be able to work 75% of Canucks home games per month
- Solid team player with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to interact professionally with fans
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Non-Canadian residents must hold a valid work permit with a minimum of 8 months of validity remaining
- Please note that in order to be considered, you must be able to attend mandatory on-ice auditions.
