About the role
The Venture Graphics is a creative and collaborative team dedicated to producing high-impact print and digital marketing materials that support our company’s growth. From concept to execution, as a member of our team, you will be responsible for brand direction, product packaging designs/modifications, marketing collateral, flyer production, sells sheets, presentations, email campaigns, website updates, and different graphics-related requests. This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety in their work, and takes pride in creating polished, professional designs that make an impact.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with members of the graphics team as well as the greater marketing department.
- Create new packaging designs.
- Maintain strong visual branding across all marketing collateral.
- Own the look of several internal brands, ensuring high caliber visual consistency.
- Design and execute website updates and email marketing campaigns.
- Develop and maintain style sheets and master pages in InDesign; support flyer and catalogue production.
- Capture and edit product photography; assist with occasional video production.
- Create a variety of marketing materials, including catalogue covers, posters, and trade show assets.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop effective print and digital design materials that meet business needs.
Requirements
- DEC or professional program degree in graphic design or related field.
- 3+ years in a graphics related field.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver) within a Mac environment.
- Solid hands-on experience with HTML and CSS for digital projects.
- Sharp eye for detail with a strong sense of design and visual storytelling.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience with product photography, including flash system and lighting equipment, is an asset
- Bilingual (French and English*), spoken and written. (*) This qualification is required as you will be interacting with partners, vendors, internal/external clients and/or staff across Canada on a regular basis.
