About the Opportunity
Our client is a developer in the construction industry seeking a dedicated Accounting Manager to join their full-time, in-office team in Vaughan. This is a high-volume role with exposure to over 100 entities and a broad range of transactions.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and review full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, payroll, bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and month-end close
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting
- Manage payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate employee payments
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and organize supporting documentation
- Assist with budgeting, cash flow tracking, and forecasting
- Maintain precise accounting records and systems
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the leadership team
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including direct experience in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting, payroll, and bookkeeping in a multi-entity environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a traditional, fast-paced office setting
