About the role
Assignment:
- Part-time 0.50 FTE temporary replacement teaching position
- Afternoons daily
- Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue until October 31, 2025, with the possibility of extension.
- Courseload to include:

Math 10C

Math 20-1

Math 20-2

Qualifications:
-
Experience working in an Outreach/Alternative school environment would be considered an asset
-
Experience working in courses as mentioned above would be considered an asset

Passion for education and commitment to student success

Assessment literate
-
Ability to utilize varied instructional Strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs
-
Ability to work independently is essential
-
Ability to teach multiple grades and subjects simultaneously Ability to work as a part of a strong collaborative team

Must have strong technology and 21st century learning skills

Strong planning, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
-
Strong classroom management skills
-
An understanding of High School Redesign Principles, the Collaborative Response Model, and Differentiation would be considered an asset

Commitment to ongoing professional growth
