SENIOR ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ANALYST – CALGARY (CAT)

The Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst works alongside and supports the Team Lead.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and distribute AR-related reports utilizing Power BI, Salesforce, and OpenInvoice reporting features.
  • Set-up and maintain customer invoice files.
  • Enter and post product and service invoices according to established department procedures. This could include both manual typing and electronic invoicing.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes related to accounts receivable.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer teams to resolve customer billing issues.
  • Follow up on delinquent accounts to secure payment dates and amounts.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior members of the AR team.
  • Willingness to assist in additional tasks/projects outside of regular responsibilities.
  • Ensure that Trican's core value, "Safe equipment and operations" is the priority in all activities

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years related experience.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Oracle, Fieldglass, and Ariba is an asset.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and organized with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level).
  • Experience with SQL (beginner) and Oracle Reports is a plus.
