Are you a highly driven, results orientated leader who is ready to take the first step towards an exciting career in a company committed to your success? Marino’s Automotive Group is looking for aPre-OwnedSales Manager at Marino’s Auto Group in Etobicoke!

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Pre-Owned Sales Manager to lead our used car department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the pre-owned vehicle operation — from vehicle acquisition and appraisal to inventory management and team performance. This individual will play a key role in ensuring profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Vehicle Acquisition & Appraisal:

  • Source and acquire high-quality pre-owned vehicles through various channels.
  • Perform accurate vehicle appraisals using data-driven valuation tools and market analysis.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Manage, coach, and train the pre-owned sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales goals.
  • Support sales consultants in closing deals and improving overall performance.
  • Ensure that all team members follow dealership processes and use available sales tools effectively.

Sales & Customer Satisfaction:

  • Assist the sales team in negotiations and closing transactions.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints related to the used car operation promptly and professionally.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, trust, and exceptional customer service.

Inventory & Operations Management:

  • Review inventory daily to ensure all units are retail-ready, properly displayed, and marketed effectively.
  • Monitor market trends to optimize inventory mix and pricing strategies.
  • Set and track monthly sales and gross profit targets for the department.
  • Review monthly performance reports with the General Manager and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in automotive sales management (preferably pre-owned).
  • OMVIC certification is required.
  • Proven track record in vehicle acquisition, appraisal accuracy, and achieving sales goals.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
  • Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) and inventory management tools.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience with PBS and Deskit is considered a strong asset.

Working Environment:

  • Hours: 40 Hours per week
  • Working in Sales Department

Compensation:

  • Compensation range: $130,000 CAD- $170,000 CAD
  • The range may vary based on experience and qualifications.

This compensation encompasses base salary, non-discretionary performance bonuses and vacation pay as required under Ontario Regulation 476/24 made under the Employment Standards Act, 2000.
