What you'll be doing day to day
We don’t want to brag, but in our team we’re born negotiators. Together we source the world for suppliers for everything from raw materials for products to ink for the printer. Our mission is to maximise what suppliers can provide at the lowest possible prices while assuring safe and sustainable sourcing at all times. - Contributing to the implementation of the Strategic Sourcing agenda in the markets and/or categories by executing relevant action plans while building long-term supplier partnerships and driving supplier performance
- Executing sourcing projects according to the Source-to-Pay process and SAP Ariba
- Delivering business priorities by collaboration with colleagues across departments as one cross-functional team
- Ensuring a strategic and professional approach to sourcing by using excellent negotiation skills to optimize and drive out costs and considering the end user for effective call off options as well as optimal invoicing channel
- Securing compliance through IWAY and the Code of Conduct
- Continuously monitoring the supplier market and providing input to business owners on sourcing options, supplier market, market trends and contributing to the development of the Category Plans.
- Implementing and communicating procurement strategies/ category plans /strategic directions within the markets and/or categories.
- Ensuring added value and relevant solutions to meet customers' needs
