About the role

Marcon is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead the development and execution of interior design across a portfolio of projects in the Lower Mainland. This role plays a key part in translating design concepts into coordinated, buildable environments that reflect Marcon’s brand standards and deliver a high-quality customer experience. Working closely with Development, Construction, and Sales teams, the Senior Interior Designer ensures design intent, functionality, and constructability remain aligned from concept through construction.

About Us

Many people will spend their lives in a Marcon home, so we have to build it right, every time. Founded in 1985, Marcon is an established real estate company specializing in acquiring, developing, building and managing properties across Metro Vancouver. A focus on quality and craft is what the business was built on, giving us a trusted name in the construction community. These principles have remained a focus as we’ve expanded into the real estate development and operations space, managing our own projects from conception through to execution, completion, and ongoing management.

We are committed to providing elevated experiences at every touch point between our people, our buildings, and our communities. None of this is possible without a hardworking team working together to make it all happen.

The Opportunity

In this role, the Senior Interior Designer leads interior design development across assigned projects, guiding the process from early concept refinement through construction documentation and delivery. Working closely with internal teams and external consultants, the role ensures interior design direction is clearly defined, coordinated, and executed in alignment with project positioning and brand standards. Design submissions are reviewed and refined to resolve complex coordination challenges, ensuring documentation is complete, buildable, and aligned with project timelines. Collaboration with Development and Construction teams is central to addressing constructability considerations, supporting value engineering discussions, and maintaining alignment between design intent and project budgets. The role also contributes to the growth of the Interior Design team by mentoring junior designers, strengthening team capability, and reinforcing consistent professional standards across projects.

What You Bring

  • 5–7+ years of interior design experience, ideally within residential or mixed-use development
  • Degree or diploma in Interior Design or related field
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
  • Demonstrated experience managing consultant relationships and complex project coordination
  • Strong understanding of design documentation and construction processes
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across Development, Construction, Sales, and Marketing teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

What We Offer

Marcon is committed to building an inclusive, inspired, and high-performance team culture where our Core Values of Safety, Integrity, Teamwork, Passion, and Excellence guide how we show up every day. As part of our Interior Design team, you will contribute to shaping communities across Metro Vancouver while working alongside talented professionals who value quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement. We offer competitive compensation, extended health and dental benefits, RRSP matching, paid vacation and statutory holidays, and opportunities for long-term professional growth.
