Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join a well-established organization within the clinical research industry for a permanent position based in Montreal, Quebec. The Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) will play a key role supporting oncology-focused clinical trials, partnering closely with investigative sites and internal stakeholders to ensure studies are conducted to the highest quality and compliance standards.
Responsibilities of the Senior Clinical Research Associate include:
Perform routine on-site monitoring visits to oncology research sites, ensuring adherence to study protocols, GCP, and applicable regulatory requirements. Act as the primary liaison between study sites and cross-functional teams, fostering strong site relationships and clear communication. Review source documentation, verify data accuracy, and oversee resolution of data queries and monitoring findings. Support site readiness through investigator meetings, site initiation visits, and ongoing training as protocols or processes evolve. Monitor overall study progress, identifying risks early and escalating issues to maintain timelines and data integrity.
Qualifications for the Senior Clinical Research Associate include:
Extensive experience as a Senior CRA with a focus on oncology clinical trials and on-site monitoring. Fluency in French with the ability to communicate effectively with Montreal-based research sites. Strong working knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, regulatory standards, and clinical trial operations. Hands-on experience using clinical trial systems such as CTMS, EDC platforms, and Microsoft Office tools. Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, nursing, or a related discipline.
Compensation for the Senior Clinical Research Associate:
Salary Range: $130,000-$140,000/year (CAD)
Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, sick leave if required by law, and 401K
