Job Summary And Requirements This posting is to fill one permanent full-time position working 75 hours biweekly. Who We Are… Management Board Secretariat provides analysis and advice to Management Board, the Cabinet committee responsible for managing the Yukon government’s financial and human resources. The Secretariat supports decision-making at the highest levels of government by leading the development of the territory’s budgets and reviewing new policies and programs.
The opportunity… The Manager of Budgets provides training, mentorship, and support on government budget processes and financial analysis, both within the Secretariat and across government.

- Degree in Public or Business Administration, Accounting, Political Science, Economics or a similar discipline.
- Experience in financial analysis and/or developing operating and capital budgets.
- Experience developing and providing advice to senior management in both written and oral formats, preferably in a government setting.
- Experience leading or providing mentorship to teams of professionals.
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
