We are seeking a Construction Manager to oversee and optimize the day-to-day operations of our design, production, and installation teams, ensuring seamless execution of every project—from concept to completion.
Position Overview
The Construction Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the design, production and installation of our custom wine room projects. This includes coordinating the flow of information between design, production, and installation teams, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met, and establishing efficient systems and processes that enhance collaboration and productivity.
This is a leadership role for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, creative, and high-quality craftsmanship environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations across design, production, and installation departments.
- Develop and implement efficient workflows, scheduling systems, and reporting processes.
- Lead project coordination meetings to ensure smooth information flow between teams.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks from concept to completion.
- Optimize use of project management and communication software tools to improve team efficiency.
- Identify and address bottlenecks or inefficiencies in production and installation processes.
- Collaborate with clients, designers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Maintain safety, quality, and compliance standards across all work sites.
- Coach and mentor team members to support continuous improvement and accountability.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of project management, construction management, and/or production experience, ideally in custom millwork, cabinetry, or interior build-outs.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and design coordination.
- Experience using and implementing software tools for project management (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, MD Project. Buildertrend is used and a huge plus or similar).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration across departments.
- PMP or equivalent certification is an asset.
