Job Title: Sourcing Specialist - Technology

Location: Montreal, QC Duration: 04 Months Contract Pay Range: CAD$(53.12 - 55.00)/hr on T4 Hybrid: 3 days per week in office

Description

Montreal work location - 3 days per week in office Bilingual English & French Need to see Software / Application / cloud negotiations or experience. Short project contract, may be extended to the end of December but we cannot guarantee extension. Team is willing to pay a retention bonus equivalent to 2 weeks' pay upon successful completion of the contract.

Role Purpose

Provides support to the Strategic Sourcing Manager on strategic sourcing projects which contribute to the delivery of commercially favourable contracts and deliver optimal value to the Client Business Unit.

Key Accountabilities

Collects and generates domain knowledge and market analysis regarding the sources and drivers of value creation through purchasing. This may include managing interns, graduates, off-shore personnel and analysts in the gathering and generating of this data. Develop (and implement) and present category strategies to be presented to other Senior Client’s Procurement leaders for endorsement. Project implementation methodologies are deployed and implementation is completed in accordance with Client’s Procurement’s process, documentation and governance requirements. This will include processes such as negotiation, risk mitigation, change management and innovation. Support the syndication of Stakeholders and relationships both internally and externally during the delivery, implementation and on-going management of sourcing projects. Conduct and implement contract management (e.g.: contract execution, implementation, supplier reviews) for assigned contracts or arising from sourcing projects they have executed.

Key Responsibilities

Additionally, you will develop and execute category strategies across various levels, presenting them to senior Client Procurement leaders for approval. You'll also play a key role in fostering stakeholder relationships both internally and externally throughout sourcing project delivery and implementation. Furthermore, you'll manage contract execution, implementation, and supplier reviews for assigned contracts or projects, ensuring smooth and effective contract management processes.
