As part of Group Retirement Solutions (GRS), the mandate of the National Education Team is to engage plan members in participating in their group retirement program. We create education and communication materials to prompt members to act and make decisions. Reporting to the Manager, Member Education, you will support the development and delivery of effective member education materials to engage plan members and grow plan members’ assets in their group retirement plans. Position Responsibilities: Administration: Support the transition of documents to a new document management system. Ensure documents are categorized and labeled accurately and then saved in the correct location. Create enrollment and other member communication materials in a range of formats. Enter descriptions of plan benefits and other data in Manulife’s systems. Review materials for accuracy and readability to ensure quality and usability. Identify discrepancies between documents. Coordinate the translation of materials when required. Ensure enrollment and other communication materials receive all required approvals and are ready for distribution to plan members. Other duties as assigned. Project Management: Manage a significant number of tasks to deliver results on time and accurately. Track productivity and report on progress as requested. Build and maintain a database of well written, clear, and accurate content for plan member communication pieces ensuring key messages are incorporated. Relationship management: Consult and collaborate with multiple internal contacts to ensure the accuracy of material and obtain approval. Support the National Education Specialists on the development and execution of the member education deliverables. Required Qualifications: Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, business studies, or a related discipline. Previous project management experience or business experience in insurance or retirement savings an asset. Proven ability to spot inconsistencies, question data, and work with others to resolve questions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role requires a high proficiency in written and spoken English, proficiency in written French an asset. Desire to learn and develop. Strong Customer Service orientation with a focus on service excellence. Strong time management skills with ability to multitask. Proven attention to detail. Ability to manage a large work volume. Positive attitude and flexibility to adapt to changing projects and timelines. Strong oral and written communication skills.
