Position Overview Calian is seeking a dedicated Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our expert team at CFB Borden, supporting the health and well-being of Canadian Armed Forces members. Responsibilities
- Conduct and document diagnostic procedures with precision and care.
- Interact with patients, provide instructions, and ensure proper specimen collection and integrity.
- Perform venipuncture and operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution.
- Professional Memberships: Active membership with the CSMLS and CMLTO.
- Two Years of full-time experience in the last five years: Performing Haematology, Urinalysis, Chemistry, and Phlebotomy.
- Security Requirement: Ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level.
