About the role
Sundays is a direct-to-consumer, online-first furniture start-up based out of Vancouver, BC. We’re a young company with big plans so we’re looking for talented and driven individuals to grow with us.
Reporting to the Creative Director, the Jr Graphic Designer will support our creative team from concept to delivery of innovative and exciting marketing assets with a digital-first approach for both Sundays and our sister brand Hetta. You will be a part of building our brand vision as well as learn how to maintain and develop our brand and design standards from start to finish.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the Art Director and Sr Graphic Designer as they concept, ideate, and produce high quality assets for social, digital media, web, print and retail.
- Execute file production for projects and photoshoots across print, digital and video.
- Own tier 3 campaign initiatives from start to finish.
- Proactively problem solve and develop innovative design solutions while following creative and art direction
- Coordinate and work with printers and suppliers as necessary
- Present concepts and creative to stakeholders for project approval and manage design revisions
- Communicate productively with other teams to keep them up-to-date with project status
- Keep up to date with design and industry trends to keep ahead of competitors
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education in design or related fields
- 1-2 years experience in a design role
- A strong creative portfolio that highlights conceptual thinking, visual storytelling, and design skills.
- Experience building projects from concept through to output
- Interest in art, design, culture and interiors
- Strong knowledge of industry-standard design software:

- Adobe Creative Suite
- Figma
- Adobe After Effects
- Not mandatory but knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and newer motion tools such as Runway, Spline, Jitter or LottieFiles are a plus.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, growth focused environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate your ideas
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Keen to take on new opportunities and challenges, with a passion to continue to develop and grow.

The salary band for this role is $52,000 - $55,000 per year based on experience.
