Software Developer (React) - Up to $200k CAD Base + Exceptional Bonus - Elite FinTech Firm - Montreal
We are headhunting for skilled Front End Developers who like working on complex, performant applications!
Job Title: Software Developer (React) Industry: Elite FinTech Salary: Up to $200k CAD Base + Exceptional Bonus Location: Downtown Montreal (Hybrid Working)
As part of the team, you could: Lead the development of modern front-end architecture, delivering highly responsive and interactive web interfaces that prioritise usability and performance. Take ownership of building new greenfield digital products from initial concept through to production release. Engineer complex, data-intensive web platforms and analytical tools capable of supporting exabytes worth of datasets and demanding workflows. Work cross-functionally with product leadership, design teams, and technical stakeholders to transform functional requirements into robust application features. Produce high-quality front-end code that emphasises reusability, stability, and long-term maintainability within a scalable application architecture.
We are looking for engineers who have: A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field. Demonstrated expertise developing production-grade applications using the React ecosystem. Prior exposure to trading or FinTech environments would be beneficial but is not a prerequisite. A natural curiosity and passion for technology, actively keeping up with new frameworks, tooling, and industry best practices. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
