Payrate: | $21.48 hourly
Overtime Method: | Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain a visible, alert, and professional security presence
- Greet, assist, and direct visitors and staff as needed
- Ensure safety and security of clients, property, and assets
- Perform interior and exterior patrols, responding to incidents and emergencies
- Document, report, and investigate all security-related events
- Enforce policies and procedures, including access control and site regulations
- Conduct lock/unlock duties and monthly safety inspections
- Work effectively independently and as part of a team
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved provider)
- Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)
- Valid G2 class license with reliable vehicle
- Ability to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine (minimum double vaccination)
- Completed immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and a clear TB result are required at the time of hire. Applicants who are not immunized or are otherwise unable to provide their MMR immunity at the time of hire will not be deemed eligible for the position.

- Minimum 6 months’ experience in healthcare or non-healthcare security preferred
- 6+ months of customer service experience considered an asset
- Commitment to a minimum 6 months of availability required
- English fluency (oral & written) required; bilingualism (English/French) an asset
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)

- Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
- Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however, Paladin will cover all the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
