About the Role
Reporting to the Service Desk Supervisor, the Identity and Access Management Administrator will join a team that is responsible for administrating and supporting all of SNDL’s corporate, cultivation, production, and retail environments. This position will work closely with multiple business units across our organization, so excellent customer service and soft skills are a “must have”. The ideal candidate should have a passion for technology as well as helping others. In this role, the successful candidate will be the gatekeeper of access permissions for all SNDL’s business enterprise applications and tools.
Responsibilities:
- Provide user account life cycle management, including creating, provisioning, securing, and deprovisioning of access across all SNDL business applications and platforms.
- Provide Microsoft O365 (M365) Shared Resource Management and Support (Distribution Lists, Shared Calendars, Shared Mailboxes, Mail Contacts, and Resource Calendars).
- Support the enrollment of Multifactor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign-on (SSO), and Mobile Device Management (MDM).
- Ensure dormant accounts/records are disabled and creating regular reporting on such accounts.
- Ensure data in Active Directory/Azure Active Directory is consistent and accurate via regular audits.
- Review and resolve tickets assigned to the Service Desk team in the company’s ticketing system while adhering to the company’s internal ITSM requirements.
- Participate in project planning, implementations, and policy changes.
- Work closely with Team Leads, peers, development teams, business analysts, and end users to ensure that all systems have appropriate controls and protection.
- Maintain awareness and knowledge of current changes within legal, regulatory, and technology environments which may affect Business Technology operations. Ensure senior management and staff are informed of any changes and updates in a timely manner.
- Assist with the development, implementation, and support of RBAC.
- Perform user audit reports as required for compliance efforts and certification.
- Assist in security investigations when required.
The ideal candidate should have:
- 3-5 years of experience in performing IAM functions for a mid- to large-sized organization
- 5-7 years of overall IT experience
- University or Technical college certification in a technological discipline
- Experience and certifications in public cloud administration (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google)
- Extensive hands-on experience with M365, Azure Active Directory, Windows Server Active Directory, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and Business Central.
- Familiarity with mobile device management via Intune.
- Proven experience in user account administration in M365/Azure/Entra ID/Windows Server AD.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements (Specifically PCI and SOX)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
- Must be able to learn quickly and retain knowledge long-term
- Exceptional documentation skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
