ABOUT THE ROLE
The Production Worker - Extrusion role is responsible for safely and efficiently packaging extruded products to meet quality and customer specifications. This role involves inspecting, wrapping, labeling, and preparing extruded materials for shipment or storage. Working closely with the extrusion team, the Production Worker ensures that products are properly unloaded, counted, and documented to support smooth operations and meet production requirements.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Machine Operation: Safely operate the machine, packaging line, and AGV robot. Package extrusions to pre-determined bundle sizes efficient storage or shipment.
- Product Inspection: Inspect extruded products for any visible defects or damage before packaging. Verify that items meet quality standards and dimensional specifications.
- Packaging and Labeling: Wrap, label, and package decorated products according to work order specifications. Ensure that packaging materials are used effectively to prevent damage during storage or shipping.
- Documentation: Accurately complete packaging documentation, including labeling, tracking information, and production logs. Ensure that items are properly labeled with relevant information such as product type, dimensions, weight, and order details.
- Quality Control: Maintain packaging quality by following standard operating procedures and ensuring products are handled with care. Report any quality issues or discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhere to safe lifting and handling practices. Conduct routine checks on equipment and report any hazards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with your teammates to ensure work orders are completed on schedule and meet planning requirements. Assist with other tasks as needed to support efficient workflow and production targets. Maintain a positive work environment.

ABOUT YOU
You are someone who puts people first and consistently looks for ways to improve processes, prioritizing simplicity and transparency. You approach tasks with compassion and sustainability in mind, fostering an environment where human flourishing is valued.
- Are you able to work full-time, Monday to Friday (40 hours/week) with shift times ranging between 6:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
- Able to always wear prescribed PPE.
- Familiar with LO/TO PPE and safety policies.
- Able to lift/push/pull/carry up to 35 lbs. repeatedly and stand for the duration of your shift.
- Experience working in an ISO 9001:2015 or 14001:2015 environment.
- Production experience is a plus.
- Familiarity using production software is a plus.
- Familiarity with Lean concepts is a plus.
- Fluent in English
