About the role
Sino Canada Teacher Librarian Posting
Our Sino Canada Librarian will collaborate with staff and Administration to co-plan, co-teach, and support efforts to integrate technology with research activities related to classroom subject areas;

be prepared to assume a school wide literacy leadership role in collection development and management, promoting a passion for reading and supporting our school wide literacy goals;
-
be prepared to use technology (e.g. computers, personal devices, Smartboards, digital portfolios, voice-mail, e-mail, websites, MyEdBC) for planning, attendance monitoring, communication, classroom instruction and reporting purposes; and be prepared to support the school goals;
-
be prepared to plan and participate in the implementation of school-level activities and work to develop the Attributes for the 21st Century Global Citizen in all students – Learner, Thinker, Innovator, Collaborator, and Contributor, and to work closely with the school community to make the Library a central hub, as a warm, and inviting place for all learners.
