About the role
Reliable Fasteners, a division of Richelieu Hardware Ltd. is now hiring to represent and develop the
industrial fasteners industries. This position will be under the Industrial Sales Manager supervision.
Your main mandate will be to develop business with new customers and maintain the existing
customer base.
You will act as a trusted advisor for our distributors and industrial clients, ensuring they benefit from our full product offering and excellent service.
More specifically, your main tasks will be to:
- Visit distributors and industrial clients across the Maritime provinces.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term business relationships.
- Increase sales by promoting new product lines and optimizing product selection.
- Ensure merchandising standards are up to date and introduce new products.
- Answer customer questions regarding products and services.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and sales meetings.
- Prepare sales documentation, presentations, and visual support.
- Produce accurate expense reports and maintain a detailed logbook of activities.
- Follow up on quotes and ensure client information is updated.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of strategic and marketing plans.
- Provide regular updates and information to customers.
- Analyze monthly sales reports (SL Report) and follow up with customers accordingly.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial B2B sales.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and professional in presentation.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Organized, autonomous, and resourceful.

- Comfortable spending up to 90% of the time on the road, distributed as follows:
- 40 % of the work time is dedicated to solicitation of a prospect
- 30 % of the work time is dedicated to introducing new products lines to the existing customer base
- 20 % of the work time is dedicated to maintaining that existing customer base
- 10 % of the work time is dedicated to quoting and analyse further needs of the clients.
