A day in the life of a Senior Manager - U.S. Advisory:

  • Participate with senior-managers, vice-presidents and partners on buy and sell side cross-border transactions.
  • Assist on cross-border corporate and high-net-worth individual personal tax planning.
  • Research U.S. tax issues, interpret and apply tax legislation.
  • Research and interpret international tax treaty.
  • Review/prepare U.S. corporate, partnership, trust, individual federal and state tax returns.
  • Participate in regular training session with all team’s member and provide junior team members with training session.

What we are looking for:

  • Approximately 3 - 8 years of relevant experience either in tax advisory and or tax compliance
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word.
  • Ability to manage several projects at the same time and tight deadlines
  • Intellectual curiosity and creativity
  • Flexibility and availability
  • Good judgment
  • Open-mindedness applied to continuous learning
  • Strong team spirit and ability to work with others
  • Strong sense of client service and professionalism
  • Master in Tax designation
  • US CPA and or Canadian CPA designation
  • EA designation.
