Position Summary

We are looking for a Specialist Product Ownership – BI Solution to design and create impactful data visualizations that facilitate understanding, analysis, and decision-making. This role requires a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to produce visually appealing and interactive visualizations that deliver valuable insights. You will leverage your expertise in data analysis, design principles, technology, and AI to enhance data representation, automate tasks, and improve efficiency. Collaboration with data analysts, business leaders, and designers will be essential to gather requirements and communicate progress effectively, ultimately aiding organizations in making informed decisions.

A day in the life of a Specialist Product OwnershipBI Solution**:**

As a BI Solution Owner, your key outputs will include visually compelling and interactive data visualizations, interactive applications created using Power Apps, visually appealing UI designs using tools like Figma, prototypes for validation, and reports/presentations to provide context and insights.

By utilizing best practices, you can create more accurate and insightful data visualizations, automate repetitive tasks, and improve the overall efficiency of your work. This will enable you to provide more value to your organization and stay at the forefront of the rapidly evolving field of data visualization.

Overall, your outputs will empower stakeholders to understand and utilize data effectively for informed decision-making and drive meaningful outcomes. By combining your expertise in data analysis, design principles, technology, and AI, you will be able to create outputs that provide valuable insights and drive business success.

Role Requirements

  • **Bachelor’**s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field from a recognized institution, accompanied by relevant certifications in business intelligence (BI).
  • 3 years of experience in information technology, demonstrating proficiency in program/project management and business analysis.
  • Proven ability to work in a global environment, leading virtual teams consisting of business and IT stakeholders.
  • Ideally, possessing experience in a leadership capacity within one or more business functions, showcasing the ability to drive and influence organizational decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, adept at engaging stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Experience in development lifecycle of solution and migration and testing strategies
  • Knowledge of agile, scrum, hackathon, and design thinking methodologies
  • Desirable skills:
  • Good knowledge of BI tools like Power BI, Power Apps, SAS, SAP BW
  • Data Modelling / Star Schema and writing Optimized SQL scripts
  • Business knowledge in “FMCG/CPG” OR “Retail” industry
