Information Systems Coordinator
Murphy Hospitality Group (MHG) is looking for an Information Systems (IS) Coordinator who is has a passion for both hospitality and technology. The IS Coordinator has the ability to build great relationships across MHG’s various divisions (Restaurants, Hotels/Spa, Breweries, Festivals/Events) as well as an eye for solving technical issues. The IS Coordinator will install and manage the organizations hardware and software applications, providing support, monitoring system performance, implementing security protocols, and training staff on required technologies. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to join a world class hospitality team, supporting the operations and having fun along the way!
As the IS Coordinator, You Will
- Collaborate with MHG team management and location management to understand the business, technology objectives and projects that require your support
- Cultivate great relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee and administer Microsoft 365 and Sharepoint across the organization, developing forms, workflows and automation of processes
- Participate in development of applications for team projects, identifying opportunities for development based on the understanding of the project and needs and capabilities of Microsoft 365
- Integrate Microsoft 365 with other products as required
- Installing and configuring hardware and software across the organization
- Maintain inventory of all hardware (e.g. users and equipment) and software used across the organization
- Manage IS related technical documentation and contracts
- Work with MHG users to solve problems and troubleshoot hardware / software issues
- Educate users, make decisions on whether to repair or replace assets
- Upgrading systems to enable compatible software on all computers
- Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security
- Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in an Information Services related field an asset
- MS 365 Administrator experience (certification an asset)
- 2+ years of experience in IS/IT support
- Experience with computer networks and systems maintenance
- A+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate accreditation considered an asset
