Payrate: $19.00/hour

Duties:
- Responsible for the safety and security of the tenants, guests and complex.
- Performing duties as required following guidelines set out in the Post Orders, by the client.
- Performing patrols of both the retail and office towers.
- Ensuring completion of all shift paperwork.
- Patrolling of building and attached parking garage.
- Maintaining site computer.
- Completing all other assigned tasks.
- Monitoring CCTV and engaging with tenants.
Recommended Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong sense of integrity and professionalism
- Candidate must have completed Secondary School – Grade 12 or equivalent
- Candidate must have a valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Experience with computers at an intermediate level; programs include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
- Understands the importance of providing timely superior client services within the guidelines set out by the Post Orders
- Be able to work alone
- Be able to perform extensive patrolling
- Previous retail security experience considered an asset.
Job Requirements:
- Must have a valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Must be fluent in English, both written and oral
- Must have a valid First Aid & CPR - Level C certification (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
- Legally Authorized to work in Canada
- Able to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
- Moderate physical activity including standing and/or walking
- Management of Aggressive Behaviour and Use of Force Certification
Paladin Security is willing to offer this certification on a commitment contract (minimum of six (6) months) for new hires upon Onboarding
