Job Title: Clinical Instructor (LPN or RN) – Part time
Location: CDI College, Richmond Campus
Start Dates: November 7, 2025, and December 11, 2025
Status: Casual, Part-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Compensation: $32–$35/hour

About the Role
As a PN Instructor, you’ll provide hands-on supervision and instruction to Practical Nursing students in clinical placements. You’ll help bridge classroom learning with real-world practice—supporting skill development, ensuring safe and effective patient care, and fostering professional confidence.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on instruction and supervision in a clinical setting.
- Ensure students meet course outcomes and safety standards.
- Facilitate learning in areas such as patient assessments, medication administration, and post-operative care.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with program faculty to support continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, active registration with BCCNM (LPN or RN).
- Education: Diploma or degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of three years of recent full-time experience in acute or relevant clinical care.
- Teaching: Provincial Instructor Diploma (PID) or equivalent adult education credential—or willingness to obtain.
- Skills: Strong communication, mentorship, and organizational abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience teaching or precepting nursing students.
- Interest in innovative or blended learning approaches.
