About the role
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician (313A Licensed) to join our client's team in St Catharines, ON.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial and residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, rooftop units, boilers, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and troubleshooting to identify system faults and inefficiencies.
- Perform preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with safety and building codes.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
- Handle refrigerants in accordance with environmental and safety standards.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to deliver high-quality service.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders efficiently.
- Adhere to all company policies, health, and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Ontario Certificate of Qualification – 313A (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic).
- Minimum 3–5 years of HVAC experience in installation, service, and repair.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) Certification.
- Gas Technician (G2/G3) license is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
