Reporting to the Chair, Franchise & Distribution Specialty Group, the Senior Product Manager will manage client onboarding process and day-to-day operations for Osler Dash, the Firm’s automated platform for managing franchise disclosure and contracting procedures for franchisor clients. The Senior Product Manager will supervise any current and future Osler Dash team members such as the Product Specialist and work collaboratively with the Franchise & Distribution Group and Osler Dash clients to ensure effective and timely service delivery through Osler Dash. This work will support a high degree of client satisfaction and growth in the Firm’s Osler Dash customer base.

The Senior Product Manager will also support other Firm members in training, product management, and business development efforts related to Osler Dash.

Major Responsibilities

  • Manage the onboarding process, workplans, and checklists for each new Osler Dash client
  • Collect and review relevant client documentation and data from a non-legal perspective
  • Manage the process mapping and visualization of client processes, and setup of processes on client’s Osler Dash platform
  • Escalate potential legal compliance concerns to F&D lawyers stemming from client documents and/or processes
  • Manage client communications and checkpoints throughout onboarding process
  • Implement and test client forms, workflows, and documentation
  • Train new client users and launching live Osler Dash site
  • Oversee the operations of existing Osler Dash customers
  • Manage Customer Engagement Program and ensuring satisfaction of Osler Dash clients
  • Troubleshoot client inquiries/complaints
  • Monitor client change requests to ensure priorities are balanced properly and supervise implementation by Product Specialist
  • Manage client billing lifecycle and related annual fee reviews
  • In collaboration with the pricing group, implement Osler Dash pricing strategy, including maintenance of pricing model and preparing pricing proposals for prospective Osler Dash customers.
  • Develop and execute Osler Dash sales strategy, including cold sales outreach activities and all other sales pipeline related activities such as attending demos, facilitating security review of technology included in program and negotiating SaaS agreements with new clients
  • Exhibit Osler Dash product at trade shows and attend industry networking events and speaking engagements to promote Osler Dash (and personal) brand
  • Liaise with Osler Marketing team to develop and implement sales enablement assets and promotional campaigns
  • Oversee the product maintenance and enhancements with Osler Dash team and external service providers
  • Manage vendor relationships and provide input on development roadmap as it relates to Osler Dash
  • Provide regular financial reporting and analysis on product financial metrics

Position Requirements

Education and Experience

This position requires a college degree in a business administration and a minimum of five years of experience as a project manager or an analyst position in project management. A PMP designation and/or J. D. would be an asset. Experience in the legal industry is desired but not required.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Superior time management and organizational skills in order to efficiently multi-task and prioritize among many demands
  • Leadership experience and supervisory skills to oversee high-functioning team in a client-facing environment where efficiency and accuracy are paramount to success
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are required to communicate with various contacts at all levels, including Osler Legal Professionals and clients of the Firm
  • Manage accountabilities with little to no supervision
  • Proactive approach to work, with mindset of continuous innovation and improvements
  • Attention to detail, accuracy & strict confidentiality
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate trust through a collaborative and inclusive work style
  • In-depth knowledge of Word, Excel (intermediate) and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with the use of legal technology tools

Compensation:

The range of expected compensation for this position is $135,000 - $155,000 annually. Compensation offered will be based on a variety of factors including job-related knowledge, education, skills and experience.

We are currently working in a hybrid work arrangement, which includes a requirement to work primarily in the office and flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days per week.
